River Wednesdays
Call it whatever you like, but it's a great way for a beginner to get started or the experienced angler to kick back and enjoy a short evening's fishing. So join us every Wednesday night for an evening of fun and competition. All state laws must be observed. Starting time is 5:30pm, but length of tournament will be subject to change as summer progresses (sunset) or 9:00. Because of popular demand we will fish rain or shine as long as there is no lightning in the area at the start of the tournament.
ENTRY FEE PER TOURNAMENT - $40.00 per team cash only at ramp
OF THIS: $25.00 is for tournament payout, $5.00 is for BIG BASS and $10.00 is for Year End classic.

In addition, there will be a one-time membership fee of $15.00 per person to defray expenses. All left over moneys will be placed in the classic pot.
**TEAMS CAN NOT HAVE A SUB FOR THE CLASSIC**
The Year End Classic is by invitation only. How to qualify for the Classic, a team must have fished at least 10 of the 20 Wednesday night tournaments. You can use 1 sub to get your 10. and still recieve full points. So to get credit for 10 you need to fish with your partner or alone for 10 events with the use of 1 sub.

Standard tournament rules will apply:
1. Life jackets on while gas motor is in gear.
2. All boats must have aerated live well.
3. All boats must have a working kill switch.
4. The size limit is 2 fish over 15 inches and 3 under 12 inches.
5. A 5 fish tournament limit per team.
6. Artificial baits only.
7. No trolling.
8. All ties will be broken by the largest fish.
9. A reasonable distance must be between yourself and a competitor’s boat.
10. Dead Fish Penalty - .25 pound for EACH FISH
11. You can not weigh in a dead fish for your BIG BASS.
12. penalty for a slot fish 1 pound deduction from total weight
Tournament Directors have final say on infractions presented in writing with in 10 minutes after the end of tournament.
13. You will be disqualified if you swamp the start boat!

15. Bittersweet bridge, and 6 Span bridge is to be run at idle speed only
16. Team breakup situation. Should you and your partner break up you can start a new team. Your new partner will need to pay membership fee. Your team points are lost. You start over at 0. You need to still fish at least 9 tournaments with new partner or by yourself. as 1 of the nights with previous partner can count for one of your sub nights.

Each week you receive points according to your finishing place. The team with the most points at the end of the regular season will receive free entry into the classic plus $200. Should there be a tie for points for the season. The title will go to the team that caught the most total pounds of bass for the season.
